It’s going to be another busy weekend in Tuscany with lots of events all around. So, while I’ll be at #GarganoEcoTourenjoy Tuscany and its events!
Medieval Festivals and Historical Re-enactments
Starts today in Poggio a Caiano the great event “Assedio alla Villa“, re-enacting the siege to the Medicean Villa of Poggio a Caiano in the Renaissance. The program is rich of great events, shows and exhibits.
In Prato the medieval market and military camp go on until Sunday in Piazza Mercatale. In Prato there is also the match of Palla Grossa, ancient and traditional football played by 25 players.
Markets and Fairs
In Florence there is Fortezza Antiquaria, large antiques market at Fortezza da Basso in Florence on Saturday and Sunday. In Lucca more than 200 exhibitors attends the antiques market in piazza Antelminelli, San Giovanni, San Giusto, Bernardini, Giglio and nearby on Saturday and Sunday.
In Siena on Sunday there is the collector’s corner where you can find antiques and collectibles. On Sunday there is also the antiques, arts and crafts market in Pontremoli. In Florence there is also Chianti Emotions, three days of Chianti wine tastings in Piazza della Repubblica.
Guided Tours
On Sunday in Castelnuovo Berardenga guided tours to the surroundings with wine tastings thanks to Sunday in Chianti. Free guided walking tours along the Via Francigena one in Mugello and one in Sienese Chianti. Have a look at program of Vie Romee.
