Sienese Chianti

Want to spend a day out in Chianti discovering hidden treasures? Take part to Domenica in Chianti organized by Castelnuovo Berardenga.

Several guided itineraries in the beautiful surroundings of Castelnuovo Berardenga, the closest city to Siena in the Chianti region. Every itinerary brings visitors to discover hidden places in the area of Berardenga where owners and farmers will show their properties and tell you their histories and curiosities. Someone about this part of Chianti said:

Submerging in the green landscapes of Sienese Chianti is like finding yourself in an exclusive intense, never-ending hugs between noble vineyards and hill’s sacred olive groves. Forged by the human hand, these hills merge, still in complete harmony, to the country churches activity, to the imposing castles, to the stone walls, to the ancient stones of small churches and most of all to the little medieval villages“.
