Giostra dell’Orso


On Wednesday night I attended the Giostra dell’Orso in Pistoia. It is a traditional joust dating back to the MIddle Ages and is held every year on July 25th ending the celebrations for San Jacopo, the city’s patron. The medieval joust was won by the Griffon!
