Volterra, Landscape
Hi everyone, I’m proud to announce that finally my second app TooMuchVolterra is on iTunes!
TooMuchVolterra is a mini-audio guide about the beautiful city of Volterra. The city is famous for its ancient origins dating back to the Etruscan period. In fact Etruscan findings are still visible while you walk around the city. I like Volterra a lot. I like to wander around and look at its buildings and its breathtaking landscapes. It is located halfway between Florence and the seaside and is surrounding by the Tuscany landscape.
Another thing that I really like in Volterra is the Picture Gallery that holds a stunning work of art by Rosso Fiorentino. I saw “The Deposition” when I was 8 years old and since then I can’t stop to admire its incredibly lively colors. I strongly suggest you visit this museum. I also suggest you buy the museum card, that lets you enter three museum for just 10,00 euro instead of paying ten euro each.
