What is TooMuchTuscany?
TooMuchTuscany is my personal project together with the startup map2App. I’m a young mother who lives in the beautiful Tuscany and I decide to bet on myself and develop these applications.
TooMuchTuscany are several mini-audio guides about the most beautiful towns and villages in Tuscany, such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo and San Quirico d’Orcia. I won’t write about famous cities as Florence and Siena, since lot of people wrote already about them, but I would like visitors to discover the hidden treasures of Tuscany.
The guides of TooMuchTuscany provide visitors with all the conventional information you’re expecting from a guide, such as opening times, pharmacies and parkings. But they also provide you with unconventional information such as tidbits, original recipes and legends about the city. You find lot of information about museums and point of interests, that have a rich photo gallery and were written as if I were next to you visiting the city. Last but not least every guide is an audio-guide telling you what you are looking at. So if you don’t want to read, just listen to my voice I tell you everything you need to know.
In addition TooMuchTuscany guides, available for iPhone and Android phones, can take wherever you want thanks to a special feature, “Take me here!”, that automatically builds an itinerary from where you are.
I wrote all the contents, recorded all the audios, taken all the pictures and realized the graphics together with Pietro Ferraris, CEO of map2app.
