Women’s Day in Florence: Free Entrance for Women into State Museums

Will you be in Florence on March 8th? Are you a woman? If you answered yes to both questions you’ll have a nice gift for celebrating the International Woman’s Day in Florence.

On March 8th all State and Civic Museums in Florence and in Italy will be free for women. This means that you can visit the Uffizi Gallery for free, together with the Academy Gallery and the Bargello Museum.

You can enter with a free ticket to Pitti Palace Museums, to the Medici Chapels and to the Medicean Villas in Florence surroundings. In addition you can also visit the Brancacci Chapel, the Boboli Gardens and other Civic Museums for free.
