Florence International Crafts Show from April 21st to 29th

Mostra dell’Artigianato is an international fair of arts and crafts coming from all over the world.


The exhibition is an important showcase of artistic quality and excellence coming from any part of the world. There are small Mexican craftsmen, small African companies and large Chinese companies. In one place you can find the best arts and crafts from the world.

It is divided into several exhibits’ areas. Inside Padiglione Spadolini there is Tuscany and its excellence at ground floor. Underneath there are lots of international exhibitors from all over the world – this is the part that I like the most! On the first floor you find Italian food deliciousness.

In Padiglione Cavaniglia there are artistic quality arts and crafts where you find several Italian craftsmen. Inside Padgilione Rastriglia there is the Balloons Art Convention where you can see several balloons’ compositions. At the ground floor of Padiglione Palazzina Lorenese you can taste handmade beers, chocolates and milk. In addition in the main square there are local shops from Florence, representing the best arts and crafts of the city.

Mostra dell’Artigianato is at Fortezza da Basso from April 21st to 29th. It is open every day from 10 am to 11 pm, except on April 29th when it closes at 8 pm. The single ticket costs 5 euro on Saturdays and Sundays and 4 euro on weekdays. The family ticket for two adults and two youngs under 14 costs 10 euro. Combined ticket with the art exhibit “Americans in Florence” costs 9 euro.  For discounted tickets I recommend you visit the ticket page and look if you can get a discount.
