Events in Tuscany on this Weekend April 21th to 22nd

Here we’re. Today is Thursday and the weekend will be here soon, so let’s see together what to do in Tuscany on this weekend.

In Mugello there will be several events such as the Food Festival of Tortello, delicious handmade past filled with potatoes and cheese, in Scarperia. You can also have typical “carne alla brace“, grilled meat, as the Florentine Steak. In Borgo San Lorenzo you can taste the wild boar at the Food Festival of the Wild Boar. On Sunday in Borgo there will also be the antiques market in the city center.

On Sunday there will be lots of antiques markets all around Tuscany, such as San Gimignano and Capannori. In Anghiari there will be a large antiques market, going on until May 1st, that will include also arts and crafts form all the region. In Forte dei Marmi there will be a large market for shopping lovers with clothes, shoes and much more. If you like flowers you should visit Pisa in Fiore at the Leopolda Station in Pisa, Francigena in Fiore in Altopascio and Colors of flowers and plants in Piazza D. Veneziano in Pistoia.

If you are interested in food tasting you should go to Volterra, where takes place Paesi e Sapori in Piazza dei Priori, a tour into local tastes and products. In Piazza Grande in Arezzo there will be a market dedicated to local products and wines. In Seravezza at the Granduke’s Stables there will be Wine Art, a great occasion to taste and buy excellent wines.

I would like also to remind you that the Week of Culture will go on until Sunday April 22nd so you’ll have the chance to see more museums for free. keep in mind also that this week will start the Mostra dell’Artigianato in Florence!
