Sensory SPA in Chianciano Terme

Sensory SPA

If you’re looking for relax and wellness in Tuscany, you really should visit the Sensory SPA of Chianciano Terme in the province of Siena. I had the opportunity to take a relaxing tour thanks to #termeinterredisiena.

The thermal baths for your senses

Surrounded by the green woods of the Park of Acquasanta, the Sensory SPA or Terme Sensoriali, are the temple of thermal baths. The large structure integrates modern architecture, traditional, natural and ayurvedic medicine with several paths for finding your relax and wellness.

The sensory SPA offers 4 specific sensory trails to meet anyone’s needs. In particular you can choose the Depurative path, the Relaxing path, the Energizing path and the Rebalancing path. Every path combines different elements according to its philosophy together with traditional thermal practices such as baths and mud.

What you can’t really miss are the outdoor hot tubs, especially the salted one with very hot water, that is perfect for relax at night while you’re surrounded from the dark woods. I also loved the relax jacuzzi using chromo and music therapy, as well as the cromo and aromatherapy in a special round room.

I personally loved this sense experience and I’m planning to go back soon with my husband, because it’s the perfect place for a romantic break in Tuscany!

Where to sleep

Chianciano Terme is a thermal destination and there are several hotels and accommodations. I stayed at Hotel Villa Ricci, 3 star hotel with comfortable rooms and close to Sensory SPA. What makes this hotel different from others is the modern holistic SPA and Wellness area, offering a complete relax.

[…] Last weekend I visited Chianciano Terme, a lovely town in between Valdorcia and Valdichiana. I was surprised from its charm and from its beautiful surroundings, since I’ve always associated it to thermal baths, in particular to the Sensory SPA. […]
