Events in Tuscany on this Week End March 24th and 25th

This is the first weekend of Spring and there are lots of things to do in Tuscany. Let’s see together the main events in Tuscany on March 24th and 25th.

Several Spring Fairs around the region, celebrating the new season with music and lots of good food. On Saturday in the center of Prato there will be a nice market selling organic products and handmade objects. In Lido di Camaiore along the “passeggiata” (seaside street) there will be a market of typical products, both food and handmade objects. In Volterra you can taste excellent food, extra virgin olive oil and truffles at VolterraGusto.


If you want to experience something special don’t miss the New Year’s Celebrations in Pisa and in Florence going on for all the weekend. Otherwise you can head to Torritta di Siena for watching the Palio dei somari, a traditional donkeys race. The if you want to taste frittelle di riso, you can go to Bagno a Ripoli near Florence or in beautiful La Verna near Chiusi.
