A night out with bloggers

Pisa

Pisa

On Sunday night I spent some time with other travel bloggers.

The venue was a dinner for charity at a luxury hotel in Pisa, the Abitalia Tower Plaza from where you can see the Leaning Tower! The dinner was a buffet at the swimming pool and as soon as we arrived (we= me, my little son, my husband and my dog), my little son decided to drown into the pool. Luckily my husband was there and took him right away and nothing happened except it really scared me to death.

Apart from this, I met several interesting and famous travel bloggers, such as Francesca Turchi owner of Travel’s Tales where you find lots of useful information about Eruopean destinations. She organized the dinner and the Pisa Blogtour 2012 together with Andrea Romanelli.

Francesca introduced me to Il Bisbetico, alias of Luca Tempestini who has almost 2000 followers on Twitter, then to Chiara and Bruna, owners of Slow-Travel, a nice blog for traveling slow as two turtles. Bruna also runs her own blog about Pisa, called My Life in Pisa town. I was introduced to Federica Piersimoni, famous also for her blog about low cost travels.

I also met for the first time Silvia Ceriegi, mother of trippando, a blog about family traveling. Maybe you noticed the badge on my blog, since I started writing to trippando a couple of weeks ago. There i write about events for children in and around Tuscany.

Before leaving I had a chance to have a nice talk to Kinzica, owner of the lovely Blog 100 days with her boyfriend Alessandro. They traveled for 100 days to Kenya and India and in their blog you find lots of useful info about other world destinations. She was so nice and introduced me to Eleonora and Francesca, owners of Il Turista Informato, very useful blog for travelers.

Unfortunately I hadn’t time to met other famous bloggers such as, Elena Farinelli owner of Io Amo Firenze, Gianluca Galanti owner of Il TuristaSimona Capitelli owner of Hotel’s Stories and Giuseppe Trisciuoglio. But hopefully I’ll have another chance to say ciao to them and to other travel bloggers!
