Tuscany Weekend Events from July 27th to 29th

It’s going to be a thrilling weekend for me since I’ll be a #wildblogger in Maremma. But don’t worry there are many events all around Tuscany!

Festivals and Feasts

In Vinci there the the important medieval fantasy festival Unicorn Festival with a rich program of shows and exhibits related to fantasy world. In Laterina there is the beautiful Medieval Festival, bringing back the ancient castle to the Middle Ages.

On Friday 27th in Massa there is Quintana Cybea, when five knights will be nominated for the medieval Joust, that is held next week. In the village of Scalvaia there is the ancient game of Palla a 21, peculiar game played since Roman times.

Markets and Fairs

In Massa Marittima on Sunday there is the lovely market of old toys with traditional food from Tuscan cuisine. In Villafranca Lunigiana there is the antiques and collectibles market on Sunday.In Viareggio both on Saturday and Sunday there is a large antiques market.

In Certaldo on Sunday morning Fra’ Cipolla Market to buy fresh and organic food produced locally. In Colle Val d’Elsa there is the mercatale, where you can find organic food and arts & crafts.
