About Me

Valentina Dainelli aka TooMuchTuscany

Ciao, my name is Valentina and this is the too-much-world of TooMuchTuscany. This is a blog about Tuscany and Italy, its dolce vita and what I like about it.

Here you’ll find tips, events and people that make Tuscany my lovely home. I write about places and activities that I’ve really experienced and I think are worth to write about to live the real and unconventional Tuscany. I love off-the-beaten path destinations, discovering hidden treasures and beauties, listening to people stories and taking part to special and historical events.

In love in Florence

In real life I whisper to donkeys and count the stars. I love too-much things, including my life in Tuscany. I’m based in Mugello near Florence, but I’m often out to discover the world taking lots of pictures. I’m the Content Queen at Lo-Studio. A Visionary Agency in Mugello, that I found in January 2015 with my partners in crime Filippo, Daniele and Marco. In addition I’m a busy mom and wife, balancing my career, family and personal life as a professional juggler.

I’m the only one behind TooMuchTuscany, but I’ve got great supporters such as my husband Babu Mario and my little son Edoardo, Quiver the dog, and Antonio the cat. We’re the TooMuchFamily. So if you see a funny and noisy Italian family around, keep calm and say ciao! If you have questions, wanna make a new friend just write me at info [at] toomuchtuscany [dot] com or visit

Hi Valentina.Thank you for your help today in the Piazza. We found the tour group and it was a worthwhile tour. We just decided that we would love to go on a tour of Tuscany tomorrow but the tour groups are all booked. Do you have any suggestions of guides who might be able to take us tomorrow afternoon from Florence to Tuscany? We would love to see Siena and San Gimigango Maybe this is something you would want to do? We do not need a formal tour guide. But would love to go there for the afternoon and see both cities. It has been over 20 years since we have been there and we would love to go back. I look forward to hearing from you, Denise
