San Vincenzo Green Christmas
In San Vincenzo, on the Tuscan Coast, December is not only Christmas’ month… From this year, and for many years in the future, people will celebrate a precious product: the olive oil!
On Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th December, a nice market of new oil, wine and food will be displayed in the center of the town. Children will learn about oil through creative laboratories.
This event, called Green December, will take place for all the weekends till Christmas. The focus on the colour green looks at nature, olive oil, ecology, recycling! All the decorations are hand made re-using old materials or things collected in the forest around.
Program
Saturday 8th December: Children choir and music Orchestra. All day the handcraft market.
Sunday 9th December: Popolar Chorus at Bar Il Corso.
Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th: Olive Oil Festival. Music by the walking band Magicaboola.
Saturday 22nd December: Christmas Market
Sunday 23rd: Creativ laboratories, handcraft market
Saturday 29th: Christmas Baby Dance and market.
